What you will be doing:
We are looking for a Fractional Global Head of Marketing to lead Crowdcube’s marketing efforts in the UK & EU for a 12-month cover. This role is responsible for driving both supply-side (B2B marketing strategy to support commercial growth) and demand-side (Investor engagement) initiatives.
Day to day you will:
Develop and implement a B2B marketing strategy in close collaboration with sales leadership to drive pipeline growth and customer acquisition (Lead Generation).
Lead the creation and execution of marketing strategies to grow both sides of Crowdcube’s marketplace.
Track and report on key performance metrics for campaigns to demonstrate marketing’s impact and its correlation to revenue.
Work closely with sales, product, and business intelligence teams to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
Establish and refine closed-loop analytics to track how marketing activities contribute to pipeline growth, customer acquisition, and investor engagement.
Report on key marketing metrics to senior management and use insights to continuously improve marketing performance.
Manage and mentor a team of 3 (EU Marketing Manager, Senior CRM Manager and Marketing Executive), playing a key role in their development and success during the interim period.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably within a high-growth or fintech environment.
Strong understanding of demand generation, pipeline growth, and investor engagement strategies.
Experience working closely with sales teams to develop and execute marketing initiatives that drive revenue.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to track, analyse, and report on marketing performance metrics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Previous experience managing and developing a small marketing team, with a focus on mentorship and professional growth.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

- £75,000 - £90,000 Pro-Rata (DOE)

Our interview process typically consists of an initial phone screen, an interview with the hiring manager and a task, followed by a final interview with other members of the team. There aren't any trick questions and the task will typically be based on a real scenario the team have worked on.
